I'm a little surprised that there isn't a rerecording of 304号室、舌と夜 on there. I thought that, considering they've already remade mama for Immortalis and 304 has pretty much become a staple of their live sets, that a studio remake would have been a no-brainer. Guess not. Also I second Perez's theory that the new song will indeed be titled 雨上がりの優詩.

 

Anyway, I'll pick up the 'Initial Limited Edition' like I did with Immortalis. Although I don't particularly like the way that the artworks for both of those editions focus solely on Kyo. I know it's mostly 'his' project, but considering how much of an influence the rest of the band have on the compositional side of things it seems a little weird having artwork that makes it look as though it's a pure solo project.

There's possible hope for 304 to be on a future full length rather than a mini. I'm not saying it will but whatever. Personally I'm not too pleased with the remakes of Kyo songs.

Seeing as this is being marketed as a major album (just like IMMORTALIS, under SMEJ - of course) - the best marketing idea for this release could be ofc have "the face" of the band as a 'star' of album covers. Kyo is quite known enough (let's ignore AKB/Kuu-digesting youth here, k) in the mainstream J-music scene (he has been the main marketing point of DEG ever since Uroboros), therefore the inclusion of other members would only confuse clients that stumble upon this in say, Tower records shops (?).
