Not a D.I.D fan (don't dislike them, just never really heard them), but I really like DIMLIM so far. The mini-album is actually one of my favourite purchases this year. The music production could probably be a bit better, but I kinda like the roughness of it; it goes well with the composition and Sho's vocals. And OMG Sho's vocals... They're so good!! I first heard アハレワタ, and was intrigued by the screams. I put it on the back burner though, until I heard 「初潮」 and decided I NEEDED to get the mini album I still need to get the limited edition version of the mini-album for the extra songs, but so far my favourites are THE INVISIBLE and 浄土の花.

yup, i thought of agitated screams of maggots too, and the song was actually pretty good imo. it's been a while since i liked any of their A-sides. the pv for the ballad was really simple and nothing original but i liked how it was executed. idk it just works well for a ballad. song's a little bland though.

One of my current favorites this year and I love the mix between clean vocals and screams. "ア ハ レ ワ タ" I would really call one of their weakest songs. Favorite Tracks are: destroy a desire (this song is a beast), 浄土の花 and 「初潮」

with the first previews i held back my opinion but now that there are longer previews with the PV's... like i already thought from the short samples "iikusuri" is nothing special... theres nothing going on in the complete song except that the blastbeat in the beginning was nice but apart from that just a boring song... - also imo the screams sound so flat - like no heaviness to them on the opposite his growls still are very good at least. but surprisingly the ballade was kinda nice albeit also nothing special... guess they continue with the downward trend... sure they are still a good band but imo their good ol' days are over and i am pretty sure forever by now...

Hello and nice to meet you all! My name is Seileen and I'm a 25 year old girl from Italy. My main reason for joining this forum is to meet fellow Jrock, Jpop and VK fans. I'm very happy to have found this forum because all of the VK forums I've found so far have died many years ago and, as you may have guessed, it's extremely rare to find someone who listen to this music when you live in the countryside of Italy xD I'd like to find people from all over the world with whom to have interesting conversations, share common interests and it would be great to find travel/concert buddies as well, since my dream is to go to Japan and attend my favourite bands' lives there. Among my favourite bands are: X Japan, Malice Mizer, Moi Dix Mois, Merry, miyavi (I mean the old one T.T), Kishidan <3, Golden Bomber, Kaya, Seileen/ Selia, Versailles, Psycho Le Cemu. Not visual kei music but I love them anyways: DJ OZMA and basically every OST from every Ryu Ga Gotoku game. So I hope to hear from you!

As someone who has spent a day watching every NIGHTMARE live in chronological order, I can tell you this: 2003: Yomi had no control/vocal technique, he was shaky 2004: Still shaky but you could tell he'd begun to find a technique that worked for him 2005-2008: He seemed to have his vocals very clean, really nice vibrato and amazing falsetto 2009 (There best performance, that being Majestical Parade tour final at Budokan): Yomi performed his best here, just listen to his voice in Wasurena Kusa and Melody (that unplugged melody was simply beautiful) 2010 pre Makuhari Messe: His voice had harshned a tad, but was still good. 2010 Makuhari performance: Yomi lost control over his voice a little, a few signs of wear (This shouldve been the beginning of hiatus period. Thanks Avex) 2012: Yomi had a harsher voice than usual, but still delivered great at Budokan (Suna was phenomenal) 2013-2014: First signs of his voice condition worsening, lots of voice cracks, nasally vocals (Kyokutou Ranshin Tengoku and HATE were poorly performed at Nakano Sun Plaza, DIRTY was awful at Tokyo Inter. Forum Hall A) 2015-2016 (hiatus period) Shit had hit the fan for YOMI unfortunately, his voice was uncontrollable (Love Tripper at the Awakening of Clowns final at Toyosu Pit was a struggle for YOMI, his falsetto attempts just turned to breathy vocals) In short, NIGHTMARE were really good up to 2009, but shouldve gone on hiatus around 2010/2011 after their Makuhari Messe Performance, it was cruel for Avex to keep churning out their later material.
