Tbh Versailles is more my style musically (I love power metal), but I think I'm so fixated on Lareine because their music had variety. There's nothing in Lareine's discography that makes me go "Oh, this sounds like a rehash of another song, still good though" and I catch myself doing that with Versailles a lot. Anyway I want to hear Billet live and afaik there's no recorded footage of it. ;;

y'all are weird AVANTGARDE was better than SINNERS overall i like this album, although FIVE seems like the most obvious choice for "should have been cut" even though the idea of giving everyone a feature because they're all back together is cute cause it's forgettable as hell. i really like OBVIOUS (shame about the DIES IRAE self-cover portion) but it's mostly because it gives me 07-09 lynch. flavor and i can 100% picture how it goes down at lives. ultimately tho my favorites are AMBLE, SENSE OF EMPTINESS, FAITH & GROTESQUE. but mostly i wish they would take a break from the album/album tour format for a few years. every album separates into what songs are going to be regulars and what songs we're never going to hear again after the album tour except at fanclub shows. if you're going to treat most of the album like a b-side soon, i don't really know what the point is. or maybe this is normal for major bands with large album outputs? also tetsu from d'erlanger for some reason has his own special thanks line in the booklet... did i miss if the members mentioned why? did he lend asanao something?

About the part you missed, 全開 means "completely open" which, of course, refers to the zipper, but it may also mean "to be exposed" as if the singer had his guard down and so he's wide open to the bangya's eyes. If you wish to keep the joke, I think you have no choice but to force a bit the translation, but it could be something like this: "Right now I'm wide open just like my zipper" Just a suggestion anyway. I'm so happy about this band getting so active again, I received the bluray today and watching right now, and it is amazing so far. I really loved Black Bane; I'm excited to listen to Gakido and Nutty a hermit again, so much nostalgia with those songs omg... hehehe I really liked their old style, the new songs are more slow and with electronic sound, I hope they find a balance, because their old style was so awesome

I don't know why but it feels like every single interview, review or article written about X Japan or Yoshiki in particular in the west are a bought shill piece ghost-written by Yoshiki himself. The amount of critical questions regarding the delay are always nil. I guess a guitarist falling sick is now legit reason to scrap the whole album, even though it was supposedly finished and the member returned to the band after recovering? So either the album has 100 songs, which it better have after this long wait, or Yoshiki doesn't understand how percentage works. It's nice he's acknowledging that he doesn't care what fans want, he NEEDS to make his English CD because this is really all about him getting to mingle some more with C-list celebrities at baseball events. See also that the magazine claims it's an interview with the band, yet only Yoshiki seems to be interviewed. Just disband already, this has been a train wreck for ten years by now.

To be fair, their roadies are pretty famous nowadays, I think Kamijo could do a decent job with some MM material. If I miraculously manage to gather some cash I'll go for sure.
