If. Most of them do not. If you want the best growls, steer clear of VK.

It lacks the options asexual, autosexual, pansexual, etc... You probably should have added an "other" option so as not to potentially offend anyone.
    Asexual dyke o'er here.

Allllll the single ladies (and men), put yo' hands up.
I've been in a fair few relationships and I've had my share of regrettable one night stands.
In my opinion, relationships are not all they're cracked up to be and for several years now I haven't been interested in them. My last two were the final straw, really. My ex was controlling, patronising and... to be frank, she was everything I do not find attractive in a person. She would flip her shit if we didn't speak every hour of every day, would accuse me of thinking and feeling things I wasn't, of not being devoted enough and would go on and on about how she couldn't love someone who didn't love her explicitly. If I so much as expressed affection for a friend, she would be furious and I ended up resenting her. Eventually, she had the gaul to cheat on me when she was drunk and I told her I didn't have the physical or mental energy to put up with her.
This was a catalyst, combined with past abusive and destructive relationships, my friends attitude toward promiscuity and fidelity, my parents divorce and other personal matters. It's safe to say I'm turned off relationships for life.
That said, I find it disconcerting how much young girls rely on relationships. All I hear them talk about is boys, as if they're the be all and end all. The amount of girls wanting to have boyfriends, husbands, babies so young is appalling to me. One of my sister's friends is fifteen and pregnant, she wants to be a full-time mother and have as many kids as possible. It's all everyone, especially girls, seem to care about.
To be honest I have never been so content as I am focused on myself and my happiness. I work, I study, I socialise with friends and I don't need a significant other to validate me. I've been called pathetic for it a couple of times and my grandmother believes I should be married and settled down by now (at twenty-two!) but I have a hard enough time dealing with my own idiocy and over sensitivity, I don't want anyone else's baggage. I don't want to get married and I don't want to have children (later in life I might adopt). I want to live, travel and be happy.

Karyu is a big, big D'ERLANGER and BOOWY fanboy. CIPHER I think is actually his favourite guitarist. He was never a huge X JAPAN fan. Most VK guitarists tend to be hide fanboys, he's one of the few I've seen who isn't. As I understand it, he respects hide and likes the band's music well enough just not as much as everyone else seems to. He used to have a bit of a thing for SUGIZO, too, who I believe either taught him how to play the violin or inspired him to teach himself, but he doesn't mention him or LUNA SEA anymore.
Tsukasa is stupidly in love with Yoshiki, though. Both Hizumi and Karyu are Cocco fanboys. A friend of mine went on a FC trip and Hizumi bought some super limited edition of one of her albums and clutched it to his chest like it was rare treasure. Don't know about Zero, although he likes Lady Gaga. All of them are gay for Marilyn Manson and flailed about getting flowers from him for their anniversary.
Uhhh, 90% of indies bands are Dir en grey fanboys. Or Gazette. Except BERLIN, who were so obsessed with D'espairsRay they performed covers of their songs live.
Uruha and Sakito = also SUGIZO fanboys.

Oh man you reminded me that I need to get back to my PC playthrough, I stopped back in late march due to Dark Souls release... but yes DD is so good, and the PC port was really well done. I really hope Capcom will consider making a proper sequel that is not a MMO, or hell I don't even care if it's a MMO just localize if here please

the chop bands are so underrated...the best thing that has come out of visual kei in the past 10 years is the chop guys hands down (angrayse, emmuree, silence, dish, dies, l'eprica, munimuni, lament. etc) (i consider the nagoya dudes who play with 'em as part of the chop scene so shh)
after the famewhores and bandhoes filter out of the current indies scene, i hope to end up with a set of cool old dudes like this in the next 10 years (the new gen of chop bands lolol), i see a lot of kids who are currently in shit bands but have really cool influences and i can't wait to see where they end up in the next 10 years--like look at kozi going from malice mizer to ziz and dalle, what a change LOL. they're genuinely great musicians who've stuck to their guns throughout the years and every single release is amazing and completely worth the wait.
its so annoying when i hear "vk is going to hell" blah blah like listen to these guys if you have any possible love of vk left and i guarantee you'll be left with something of interest. doesn't help that they're underground af and that its all dudes who r probably gonna retire in like 10 years but ok

Three year anniversary with my SO today, part of me wanted a more extravagant romantic evening but in the end it was perfect just to sunbathe together and eat sushi. Gotta stop being so high maintenance and demanding about these sorts of things 'cause it ends up being the simpler things that are most memorable.

Borderlands is definitely one of the best co-op FPS games you found a good one for sure.

I remember sitting down and playing borderlands 1 couch co-op with a buddy of mine back in the day, and it was so much fun we literally sat on that couch all night until the next morning playing, was probably like a 13-15 hour session or some shit... it overall is one of my fondest memories in co-op gaming right next to all the Super Smash Bros and 007: Golden Eye overnight sessions me and my childhood friends had.

I'm currently tearing into Uncharted 4 and my god this game is a technical marvel I swear. Naughty Dog must have some god damn coding/programming wizards over there or something because this fucking thing just runs and looks too good... you could show this game to some random gamer who knows nothing about uncharted and I'm most certain they would mistake it for a PC game graphics wise and performance wise as well. Other than that the story has been on point, and I have to say they have done a damn good job making the game feel like your playing a movie without feeling like your not in control or that you're sitting through a lot of cut scenes, the game cinematic wise is just terrific. Game play has overall improved ten fold over the last game, platforming is much more smooth  and complex when it comes to how you can move, also the grappling hook mechanic adds a whole new dimension to platforming and even combat as well. Speaking of combat that shit feels amazing, what I mean is the guns are just so nice feeling... in past games the guns always felt a bit unrealistic and maybe a bit arcade-y but here they have definitely gone with the realistic approach and every gun feels unique and  also sounds real for that matter as well.. which brings us to the sound design, absolutely spectacular, not only are the sound effects just on point but the soundtrack/score has been positively delightful, and then the voice work is just on a whole another level. The dynamic between Nolan North and Troy Baker is something to marvel at, not only are they both what most people consider the two leading protag voice actors in the industry, but they both are veterans in the trade as well, and when they come together in this game as Nathan Drake (Nolan North) and Samuel Drake (Troy Baker) as reunited brothers I can attest this is what I would call magic.

When I first posted in this thread, I must have been about 21/22. Maybe. I still have one of the pictures I posted, it was way back on the first page years ago!  Grumpy YA in green frog pyjamas.

I had green hair for a while after that, thankfully the pictures of it are scarce. I will never dye my hair that colour again.  Then red from the ages of 24-26! This was taken on holiday in the Highlands before a pub dinner a year ago so I was, of course, smiling because... alcohol.

And currently at 27, I'm blonde and much chunkier (and totally okay with that.) I'm glad I checked on this thread because it prompted to go back and look at how I've changed in appearance in my time at MH! Plus, there's lots more pictures of the beautiful members here to appreciate! I've been missing out!

I don't remember ever doing an introduction here but since I don't expect to be remembered well at all after a lengthy disappearance, I decided now was as fine a time as any. I suppose this is a "I'm back!" announcement too but that seems arrogant. U-um...

I'm SUBLIMINAL. Known to friends as Lorena. I joined the forums when I was a newborn baby and I'm twenty-seven now so thanks for raising me well, Monochrome Heaven-senpai.

I mean if anyone remembers me, it would probably be because I never shut up about D'espairsRay. I don't really do that anymore omg. I don't listen to visual kei at all anymore, actually, but I have a big, squishy soft spot for old favourites and still keep up with them. Mostly. Aside from once upon a time being the most annoying D'espairsRay fan to ever live, I love(d?) Plastic Tree equally but that wasn't as noticable. These days I still tend to prefer pop, folk and as usual bizarro metal music.

Anyway, I had a habit of vanishing every so often due to real life drama even when I was active here but my last disappearance was the longest, I think. It was very necessary though! I learned a lot about myself and grew as a person. I live in Scotland now, instead of England, with my SO and I'm happier and more active than ever! I wanted to check and come back here because well... to put it pathetically plainly, this was the only forum in my internet lifetime that I ever felt comfortable and welcomed at. It was once one of my regular haunts online and I miss that, so... hello, whoever reads this. Hello. Again.

When I played Sims 1, I got bored quickly and started devising ways to kill them all.
Trapping them in a 1-square room with no doors and watching them cry and piss themselves to death is a classic way to go. I don't remember the other deaths.
