Not a regular listener, but a great damn band! Guitars and drums are second to none in the metal world, and Angela can belt it out like few can. However, pure death vocals get tiring with me, and I prefer bands that change it up like the Agonist and Into Eternity, though their styles are notably different. Another thing I love about AE is that they strive to get beyond the whole "Chick Metal" thing that has been going on. Who gives two shits if a band has a female front if the band sucks? Same question should apply when they rock. Angela doesnt play the sex card, and the band stands on their own with any other, without regard to the gender of their singer. Few, few other bands can make this claim. They do what they do, and the band never begs the question about gender, and they do their best to downplay it from the media. Nightwish, Lacuna Coil, Halestorm, Cthonic, and Epica (one of my favs). All chick bands keeping the stereotype alive, despite any level of talent/lack thereof. If you ever have to say "They are female fronted, but they really rock." or "They are just as good as any guy band.", youve already lost me. Why should it ever be a consideration?

Dear BVB, Your site says I must purchase a membership to your fanclub to view news, media, and other basic information about your band that is on Wikipedia. Such information is arguably needed to make a decision as hefty as paying to be in your fanclub, one might venture to think. I figure it's one of two things: 1: Your webdesigner messed up. Fire him. 2: You are ignorant dicks. Straighten up. Cordially, Reality.

I have no idea what all these people are saying about lyrical content... "P****" and "Ich tu dir weh" are about as poetic as it gets. Great and professional video for that first song too!

Hotness and talent aside: Evanescence is no band. Its an artist who basically has session players that seem to rotate far more often then they make music. She is about as dark and doomy as Twilight is scary vampire book. Still, great chords; although my neighbors daughter can belt out the tunes better than Amy. I need to start a band with this chick I guess.

Texas close to Japan? What the hell map are you using? Actually, when I lived in Houston I was always pissed that no one ever came there, seemed like it was always West Coast, New England, and Canada. Metal says to hell with the Midwest and South, which is why I got the crap out of there. Now... just a little further to Seattle...

Currently, I dont even have that drumkit setup, its stacked in the next room! The other band I record with from time to time is redoing their studio so its all at my place right now. I do have mics and mixers, but no way to use it all right this second. Hoping to move though in the not too distant future, to a normal house where I can jam an acoustic kit again. Most of my recording is done on my DM10 module and kit. I have it setup to be as similar as possible to my current kit, with the addition of octobans! That setup runs direct into my PC where I can record on whatever. I generally use Audacity for simple things and demo tracks.

Actually, these days many bands write and record long-distance, regardless of if they perform together or not. Works just like you figured, bouncing tracks back and forth for final edits to be mixed together. There are even zero latency webcam programs designed for band practice online. Technology is great in our age. In this case, Im just looking for some fun stuff to record for the heck of it, stuff to show off on pages while waiting for the real band to get stuff back up and running. Now if we get this going bigger, Ill have to insist the world tour starts on the West Coast!

Hells yeah, Id be up for getting turned down by you guys! @_@ Im no Derek Roddy on the bass drums, but I am working on it. In the meantime, if you want to send me a rough cut, I can lay down a few ideas to see what you think. merlincoryell "at" gmail is where I can be reachamafied.

I find a lot of their stuff to be like this. Lost of energy and buildup with speed metal, to launch a ballad. For the most part I can accept it, Art of Life is likely my favorite tune right now from them. Hoping the rest of the new album will have more rock, god knows they are capable of it.

Now thats where you are just plain wrong sir! Her tits can do anything they want. And when she has them a foot from your face in a corset , its the best damn show youve ever seen, I dont care if their version of "Here Comes the Rain Again" makes you vomit blood!

I created and fleshed out mine while at my current job so I can start looking for the next. Fact is, its much easier for you to find a job once you already have one; employers are easier to trust in your employability when it is apparent. Hilariously enough, my current job is actually doing vocational counseling and placement assistance for people. So all day long I look for jobs. Even with that, after almost 2 years I havent found something better for myself, but hoping that a relocation to Seattle in the future can help that!

And you should check your sarcasm detector! I assure you anything rude, crude, inflammatory, or otherwise perplexing I say will be done so with the utmost jest.
