I saw a troll talk about it on last.fm, back in 2012.
  3. I like facial hair. And it's manly and sexy. I prefer it a bit shorter but long ass beards can suit some people. Shaved faces bore me. I have a facial hair myself because I think I look better with it. This poll makes me wary to ever post in the show yourself topic, though. xD
  4. I just finished making my trade-off mixtape and damn, this might be the best thing I've ever made..

@beni lovefilm sounds pretty cool, I like the mood of the song! @emmny that ggg song is good, I'm glad they have a full band now! I was a bit afraid to check the single since I didn't enjoy that MA&MA&MA thing, but I will check it now! @togz nice pick from THE NOVEMBERS! @CAT5 六月ノ雨ニ討タレテ is one of my favorites on alt of the society's album! and ZA FEEDO seems interesting~!

I'm sure someone will mention Downy, The Novembers, Buck-Tick etc. so I won't talk about them. 1. Oathbreaker - Rheia Oathbreaker is a blackened hardcore band from Belgium and this is their third album. I've been a fan since the beginning so obviously I had high hopes for this album. One of the most noticeable differences compared to earlier albums is the increased amount of clean vocals which is a welcome addition. There is nothing wrong with the screaming, but vocalist Caro, who is female by the way, has a nice voice so I'm glad to hear it more. The clean vocal melodies on Rheia can be a bit dull at some times, though. Preview song 2. Isaiah Rashad - The Sun's Tirade I've been waiting for this album for a quite long time. The Sun's Tirade is an album with chill production and Isaiah's great flow. Preview song 3. Every Time I Die - Low Teens I've also been a Every Time I Die fan for a loooong time and I can't believe it's already been 2 years since their last album. 2014's From Parts Unknown was probably ETID's most chaotic album but this time around they have made a rock-oriented album and I'm sure that will piss some people off but I'm more than happy. The thing I love the most about Every Time I Die is their grooviness. Expect southern rock riffage, profound lyrics and great vocals. Preview song

They describe their music as "post-rock hip-hop". Imagine if Tha Boss from Tha Blue Herb joined a post-rock/screamo band! And he's got a better flow than many ordinary Japanese rappers do.

VK synths vibrato glam rock/metal trancecore or w/e circus/carnival type of songs engrish (I can't especially stand shoegaze bands with engrish lyrics) happy or over-positive music (I have one exception, maybe two)

That's a neat line-up of support members! Kinda interested.
  11. きのこ帝国 (kinoko teikoku) will release their new album 愛のゆくえ (ai no yukue) on 2016/11/02. Further details will be announced later. I know some people have lost their faith for them but I think their latest digital single "(夏の影" is pretty good and has nice dub vibes.

I thought the song was a bit disappointing at first but it's growing on me! The vocalist still got a fantastic voice so it's all good PS. Album cover added.

Yes, it's good! Just like Kobayashi said in that interview it's like a nice blend of everything they have done so far with a hint of something new. Gonna be bumping !!!!!!!!!!! in my car a lot. ただ遠くへ is definitely my early favorite. And dat trumpet in the last song <3

envy - dude with a cap yells (not anymore tho) while the band plays christmas tunes 勝手にしやがれ - old men trying to be cool the god and death stars - they play the same song again and again ...and again all my favorite j-indie bands - nobody cares OR why did you sell out you bastards

Is there going to be dubbing tonight? I haven't been in a proper dub in a month.
  17. Not in a particular order, that would be too hard - Age Factory (quickly becoming one of my favorite bands) - THE NOVEMBERS - The Birthday (even tho their more recent material is a bit stagnant, first 4 albums are so solid) - 凛として時雨 - Yellow Studs - THE BACK HORN - Envy - Lostage - té - ゆらゆら帝国
  18. so how's dat new downy

    Interesting~!
  20. I voted for six. Six times is quite nice, that's the current amount anyway, right? Or is it four?
  21. indigo

Oh damn, completely forgot about this. Gonna watch it ASAP. And I watched The Nice Guys a while ago in theater. I'm a bit tired of these buddy cop movies, but this was fun. I noticed one or two possible plot holes but I would have to see it again to be sure. And the plot development was surprisingly unpredictable at some points, which is always nice. 7,5/10

    I'm yellow, bitches!
  23. Just found out that there's also a Japanese band called Compact Club. XD
