Ito 2438 Posted May 2, 2012 For me, trying to adjust to single life after getting out of a four year long serious relationship takes some work. I also lost a best friend and for example I just made some bomb ass food but no one to share with or brag to, I can brag on Facebook or something but still it's those little things that I lost that I have to get use to.I got plenty of friends, plenty of male friends that also want to be more then friends (fuckers) but losing someone I've been so close too all these years is taking some time to adjust to. I know in the long run I'll be fine but it's the little reminders that are kind of a drag. Damn, it's one thing to get out of a relationship, it is another to lose your best friend as well. My most current relationship almost went the other way around (gained a GF but nearly lost one of my BFFs) but there are seriously so many benefits to single life. This last weekend was a reminder of that. I was at an anime convention and I feel like that is one of those things that is easier to enjoy as a single person than in a relationship. I mean, I am not saying I wanted to be unfaithful (something I have sworn myself to never be), but when a attractive girl is walking around in a skimpy cosplay, I'm gunna look lol. Also, I feel like I have a better chance of making friends when I am not there with my GF, since she when she is there, she wants me to spend most of my time with her, so I have less of a chance of making random friends... sorry, that was random lol Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I've been hanging out with a guy at local metal concerts, I know if I was in a relationship I'd have to do some politicking to make it clear to my partner and to my friend that nothing more will happen other then sharing some beers and rocking out. Now I don't have to do any of that political delegations, I can go out and hangout with whoever the fuck I want. Also I always stopped and appreciated cute guys when I was in a relationship, I don't think that's a bad thing at all. As long as nothing else comes of it, looking in my book is not a bad thing. I fucking listen to VK, so should I not listen to VK if I'm in a relationship since no one listens to VK for the music anyway. Anyone who has a partner that gets worked up at you for just looking might need to have a serious discussion about their personal problems. If they don't even want you looking what else are they going to restrict you on? I had a stupid ex that had jealously issues, it gradually manifested itself over the course of the relationship but never again! The moment I pick up any hint of jealously or controlling I am done with that person. Arithmetica I shall come live with you. We can have wacom love sessions and collect cute Seattle boys like pokemon and I'll make you a shit ton of Japanese foods all day~.
